2007 Rhone
Our wine buyers spent over a week in the Rhone Valley last March participating in the Decouvertes en Vallee du Rhone, an intensive tasting of Rhone wines. Their travels took them from Tavel, to 3 days in Avignon where they tasted an incredible line up of the top 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape wines. The team traveled North, to Tain L’Hermitage and finished their Rhone tasting in Ampuis. They actually went a little further North to Burgundy, but those stories are for another day. Everyone agreed that the highlight of the trip was tasting the 2007 Southern Rhone wines. Below is a selection of some of our most popular wines from this incredible vintage;
